Terms of service
These terms explain the rules for using Votzuno, submitting websites, voting, claiming ownership, and using sponsored placements.

Legal review required
This is an accurate pre-launch product disclosure, not approved legal advice. The operator identity, contact details, governing law, and final retention schedule must be completed by qualified counsel before public launch.
1. Status and acceptance
These are pre-launch terms that describe the intended service rules. They are not ready to operate as final production terms until the operator identity, contact information, effective date, governing law, dispute process, warranty language, and liability terms are completed by qualified counsel.
Once finalized, creating an account or using account-only features will indicate acceptance of the effective Terms and the Privacy policy.
2. How Votzuno works
- Visitors discover administrator-approved websites through search, categories, profiles, and organic leaderboards.
- Signed-in members can submit websites for review and cast one removable vote per website.
- Website operators can prove ownership using a DNS TXT record or a fixed hosted verification file.
- Verified owners can update eligible profile details and see privacy-minimized aggregate analytics.
- Sponsored placements are visibly labeled, measured separately, and never change organic ranking order.
3. Accounts and eligibility
You must provide accurate account information, protect your login credentials, and promptly update information that changes. You are responsible for activity performed through your account unless you notify the operator of suspected unauthorized access.
You must be legally able to agree to the final Terms. The production age threshold and any guardian-consent process must be set for the launch regions before registration opens publicly.
4. Website submissions and content
You may submit only accurate information that you have the right to share. Submission does not guarantee publication, placement, ranking, ownership, endorsement, or continued availability.
You keep ownership of content you provide. Subject to final legal review, you grant Votzuno a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, format, and display that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and promote the marketplace. You may not submit confidential information, malware, deceptive metadata, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person’s rights.
5. Votes and organic rankings
Each account may maintain one vote per website. Automated voting, account farms, vote trading, coercion, or attempts to manipulate ranking signals are prohibited. Votzuno may rate-limit attempts, ignore no-op or suspicious activity, and review moderation flags.
Organic rankings are computed from approved marketplace data under published ranking modes. Scores and ordering may change as activity changes or ranking methods are improved. Campaigns, payments, and sponsored impressions are excluded from organic ranking calculations.
6. Ownership claims
A claim is verified only after Votzuno confirms control through the supported DNS or hosted-file method. Client statements alone do not establish ownership. Tokens are one-time, expire after 24 hours, and may be rate-limited. False, unauthorized, or conflicting claims may be rejected or revoked.
Verified ownership gives access to designated profile and analytics features; it does not transfer any intellectual-property right, guarantee publication, or prevent moderation.
7. Sponsored placements and payments
Sponsored placements are optional, labeled, inventory-limited, and separate from organic ranking. Package price, currency, duration, and availability are controlled by the server rather than client input.
Production payment-order creation is currently disabled. Before paid sponsorship launches, the final Terms must state billing, taxes, refunds, failed payments, cancellation, campaign timing, and provider-specific conditions. No campaign becomes active merely because a client reports payment.
8. Acceptable use
You must not:
- Break the law, infringe rights, impersonate others, or submit misleading ownership claims.
- Probe, disrupt, overload, scrape contrary to published controls, or bypass security and rate limits.
- Upload malicious code, manipulate votes or rankings, abuse payment flows, or replay webhooks.
- Harvest account data, use the service for unsolicited marketing, or interfere with another user.
9. Review, moderation, and suspension
Votzuno may approve, reject, request changes to, unpublish, or suspend listings; reject or revoke ownership; remove abusive votes; and restrict accounts when reasonably needed to protect users, marketplace integrity, legal compliance, or service security. Where practical, the dashboard will show the relevant status.
A production appeal and complaint channel must be defined before launch. Serious or repeated violations may result in account termination and preservation of records needed for security or legal claims.
10. Third-party sites, availability, and risk
Listings and outbound links lead to independent third-party websites. Votzuno does not control their content, availability, security, privacy, products, or transactions. Approval means the listing passed Votzuno’s marketplace review; it is not a warranty or endorsement.
The service may change, experience interruptions, or discontinue features. Final warranty disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity language, and mandatory consumer-law exceptions must be drafted for the production operator and launch regions before these Terms become effective.
11. Governing law, disputes, and contact
Launch blockers: the operator legal name, monitored support contact, notice address, governing law, venue, and dispute process remain intentionally unspecified. They must not be inferred from the hosting location or user timezone and must be completed by counsel before launch.
